Month of Microfinance

TDC (www.twodollarchallenge.org) has joined other student organizations (La Ceiba, Penn MFC, MFI Connect, Kiva High School, Campus MFI, and the Phoenix Fund) in forming the Student Microfinance Movement.  This April the Student Microfinance Movement is launching the Month of Microfinance (www.monthofmicrofinance.org):

During the Month of Microfinance, students at participating college, university, and high school campuses will host/participate in campus events that raise awareness and funds for their domestic and/or global microfinance institution of choice and provide educational opportunities for themselves and their communities.  

WHAT: A month of Educational, Awareness and Fundraising events for domestic and global microfinance. 

WHEN: April 1 – April 30, 2012

WHERE: College, university and high school campuses

As a member of the Student Microfinance Movement, I invite you to:

1. Join us this April in celebrating both domestic and global microfinance

2. Endorse the Month of Microfinance and support the Student Microfinance Movement in promoting Client-Centered Microfinance
