Educating Entrepreneurs, What I'm Involved With: Ivey LEADER Project

Hey Everyone,

Thought I would post a little about an organization I’m involved with.

I’m going to be volunteering in Russia throughout May with the Ivey LEADER project. http://www.leaderproject.com/ We currently have sites in Moldova, Russia, and the Ukraine; next year we are looking at expanding to India.

We are made up of HBA, MBA, and Phd business students. It is an organization you can apply for during your time at the university. Our aim is to promote economic development in eastern European countries. We use the case based teaching method taught at our school to develop business skills with local entrepreneurs.

Our curriculum is structured around starting a new venture. It covers many areas: opportunity recognition, bootstrap financing, marketing, finance, operations, communication, and implementation of your business strategy.
