MFIs in Nicaragua in the wake of the 'no pago' movement

In the aftermath of Nicaragua's no pago crisis, the microfinance industry is recovering and growing again.  The Nicaraguan Foundation for Economic and Social Development considers MFIs to be an important source of income generation and employment creation in low-income areas; some have even been fortunate enough to recover their pre-crisis institutional strength.
