Can anyone provide me with an example of a partnership agreement between a donor agency and an agency which provides loan management services. My agency is currently negotiating with a fund raising agency to provide these services and I have tried to draft an agreement, but it would be great if someone could give me one which has been tried and tested.

There are a lot of literature and views about how to go about with poor.Poverty is not a disease it can be overcome if proper structures are put in place by a wiling governance and control. The CSos and all stakeholders should fill in the gaps and lay a platform for growth and advocacy. The training and financial interventions must be capped by discipline and good will. The issue of beggars has no systems of control and monitoring hence let us create systems and institutions like blueprint of change so the poor and defined, identified and assisted. This discussion should end by summoning the our effort to change the world of the poor arround us by giving them a chance to proof themselves.
Thanks, Liza, it didn't, but it has many other useful ideas which I will use later!
Thanks for your contribution....I tried hard to see how your reply referred in any way to my original post, but I failed totally. I suspect you replied to another post altogether but maybe its just me!

Hi Peter,

You may find some useful sample loan contracts here (link below) from which to get ideas and possibly extract clauses, but I don't think you are not going to find anything which is exactly on point unless a donor/investor gives you one of their standard form agreements for loan management.

If you want my two cents worth on what you have drafted, and promise not to sue, I am happy to read and provide comments.  I am a non practicing lawyer (NY) who has been working in the MF sector since '05 and more recently focused on consumer protection issues.

In any case, good luck with this.

Best,
