Youth Specialist with ChildFund International

As a technical resource, the Specialist works with regional and national staff to achieve program quality goals.  S/he provides technical assistance to national offices to support ChildFund’s program strategy for youth, with a specific focus on programs for sexual and reproductive health, adolescent development and leadership development.  The Specialist supports the development of conceptual leadership on key topics. S/he administers learning agenda functions including contribution to development of materials, convening communities of practice and facilitating dialogue with and between national offices and partners.

The Specialist serves representation functions for the organization, including attending industry events, networking and advocacy functions in support of organizational profile and building ChildFund’s understanding of evidence based practice for deprived, excluded and vulnerable children.

As both a technical and a business development resource, the Specialist prepares capacity statements and concept notes for proposal development. S/he meets with donors to present ChildFund programs and approaches for relationship cultivation.
