I am a graduate of the University of the Philippines Los Banos major in Agricultural Economics (Rural and Agricultural Finance), BS and MS, and PhD in same field from the University of Illinois at Urbana -Champaign, USA in 1983.
I have an extensive work in Asia and Pacific region in the fields of microfinance, rural development, microenterprise development, poverty-alleviation, in the past 30 years.
