About Me
Chris joined OnTrack in July 2009. He has a BA in Human Studies and Minors in Spanish and Religion from Warren Wilson College. At OnTrack, he assists clients with foreclosure prevention loans offered by the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency. Chris has worked in sales and customer service with a software developer and consultant, domestic micro-lenders, and international microfinance consulting agencies.
Describe your interests in development
My experience has included analyzing and reporting on a market analysis survey in Atlanta for Georgia's first Latino Credit Union, counseling Appalachian micro-entrepreneurs, working on a US Dept of Treasury funded foreclosure prevention program for over 17 rural North Carolina counties. I am currently serving on two non-profit boards, Just Economics of WNC and Circle of Mercy, as Board President and Council Chair. I'm learning team leadership, organizational cash flow management, fundraising, group facilitation, conflict resolution and strategic planning. I also love to travel, love my partner Maggie, love my dog and two cats, love micro-brewed beers, love live music, and have international experience in developed, under-developed and conflict regions
