With honor GAIN is presenting a complete financial self sustain model if you are running an NGO or wants to start NGO. This model makes an NGO just like a business company to generate its resources and can survive without any donor/partner organizations. In our ter, we ask it as a “Social Business”

Salient features of working

• This is a setup of social business and it has opportunity with financial input from mother and other foundations as per the practice of microfinance NGOs. This setup based NGO has first need to make some model based pilot project by their own investment and further on it apply on the bases of their active running projects.
• This pilot project should cover poverty, agriculture, livestock, Gender, leadership at grassroots level and skills development issues on long-term financial sustainability for both organization and communities.
• Pilot project should be approved and acceptable as per the parameters and features offered by donor/partner organizations.
• Mother foundation should make all standard systems and apply standard policies in Operations. These systems will cover all management, operations, monitoring and evaluation. Further on, it will do the character of a donor organization.
• Mother foundation will apply its projects on bases of its model pilot projects to donor/partner/investors. For the subject, poverty based gender programs are eligible for more than 80% donor agencies of the world and there are more than 1600 donor agencies in the world in own directories.
• As per planned designed project, we can cover many issues within same cost and system which are human rights, health, education, advocacy, environment, awareness campaigns, literacy and social issues.
• To apply other than pilot project, GAIN will help and develop systems, SOPs and standard formats of proposals for mother foundation
• Member NGOs can apply under shelter of mother foundation and fund lines comes via mother foundation to member foundations
• Second main subject of mother foundation is development of local leadership which is also an approved model project from many donor agencies. It can also be helpful for mother foundation to create its goodwill in local area. This local leadership comprises local NGOs, retired bureaucrats, retired police and army officers, lawyers, Doctors, teachers, professors and technocrats, Members from minorities and some persons from business class. These members can be maximum thirteen in total. (This is not a compulsory project)
• The character of this committee is just an advisory unit of the foundation and have no position in board of directors and no decision power
