
The ICTD 2010 London (13th - 16th December 2010) is an annual conference hosted by the UNESCO Chair in ICT4D and the College Centre for ICT4D at Royal Holloway, University London. The College has one of the most spectacular university buildings in the world, opened in 1886 by Queen Victoria. There are many partners and organizers for this conference. The ICTD 2010 London Conference Programme will consist of two days of plenary peer-reviewed papers and posters, and two days of workshops, demos, panels, discussion and other participatory interactive activities. There are many activities and themes include International Postgraduate Network in ICT4D, Climate Change and Development, digital inclusion, an open space workshop, enterprises and poverty alleviation. In addition, the conference will discus the Euro - Africa Partnership in the field of ICT4D, How can ICT research better inform and communicate theories of development and globalization? What are new challenges and promising directions?. African Women and ICTs: Investigating Technology, Gender and Empowerment The ICTD 2010 london has an exciting social programme in order to provide as conducive an atmosphere as possible for delegates to explore innovative developments in ICT4D beyond the formal sessions, papers, poster and demos. They have arranged social events every evening during the conference, and very much hope that there will be something to suit all tastes. The main activities include:-
*** Monday 13th December – open mic/jam session in the Stumble Inn from 20.30 until midnight allowing participant to knoweach other in a fun and warm environment.Views: 5
