Nobel Laureate Attends Micro-Credit Summit

President Mwai Kibaki has challenged micro-finance institutions to diversify their product offering to meet the financial needs of the unbanked poor. Kibaki also wants financial service providers to look for ways of deepening access to help in the fight against poverty. The president was speaking when he officially opened the 14th Africa Middle East regional micro credit summit in Nairobi.
